Lots of companies that sell goods and services use testimonials because they help to reinforce the ‘brand’ and encourage people to buy. I have some on my website because I am told by the marketing experts that it is expected and that if I don’t have any, it might put off some potential customers. I am always grateful to my patients when they take the trouble to write to thank me for a job well done. I believe that I provide an excellent service to my patients. Many of them come back to me when their other hip needs to be replaced, which is very gratifying. Every so often I receive a heartfelt letter from a patient which leaves me feeling very humbled and grateful to be supported by an excellent team of staff in the hospitals in which I work. I love being a hip surgeon!
