There’s a worrying piece in today’s Daily Telegraph. Redditch and Bromsgrove, South Worcestershire, and Wyre Forest CCGs are aiming to prevent about 350 operations a year, by drawing up new eligibility restrictions.
This is grossly unfair to patients who are suffering needlessly whislt waiting for life-changing surgery. Those fortunate enough to have private health insurance or the means to pay for treatment out of their savings or income will have access to timely high quality care, the rest will suffer in silence. The NHS as I knew it is doomed…..
