I’m a registered provider for all of the major Private Medical Insurers. We also offer self-pay treatment at the Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital. The cost of a self-pay hip replacement is about £16000. The hospitals will be happy to give you a bespoke quotation which will take into account things like the type of implant to be used, as well as medical conditions that might affect how long you stay in hospital.

I don’t normally charge a shortfall, but some insurance policies do have an excess, so please check with your provider if in doubt.
