What a time to live through….I hope that all of my patients old and new are managing to keep sane, safe and well during the lockdown. Hopefully things will slowly start to return to some sort of normality during the next few weeks. I am looking after NHS patients at the Wessex Nuffield Hospital, doing a daily ward round and supporting my nursing and physio colleagues. The patients have had trauma surgery and are with us for a while in order to start their postoperative rehab.

There is still no word from the Department for Health regarding when we might start doing elective surgery again, but it is unlikely that it will be until July or August. I will keep you updated. In the meantime I am doing telephone clinics, with video if you’d like that.
